Warrior Custom Golf Scam: Golf, Golf Clubs, and Golf Equipment
Are you a rude golfer? Don't be a rude golfer and follow these rules of etiquette.
On the Green
Nowhere is proper golf etiquette more important than on the golf green. This is the very place that makes or breaks a good round. One thing to remember while on the green is to never step on your fellow player's putting line. You know that imaginary line that runs from the ball to the hole? It's a sacred line. Do whatever you can to stay off of it. Trotting all over someone's putting like is a very adequate way to really agitate someone. If your ball happens to be on someone's putting line, mark your ball with a ball marker or a small coin from your pocket. When your ball is not the furthest from the cup, mark your ball. After marking your ball, place your putter down at a 90° angle to the green with the heel touching the marker. Then, move the marker from the heel of the putter to the toe. Reverse this procedure to return the ball to its original spot.
When someone else is putting, don't move around and don't stand in a manner that casts your shadow over your playing partner's putting line. Keep you mouth shut, as well, when someone else is putting. The act of putting requires the utmost concentration, as I'm sure a lot of you have figured out through the years. If there is no caddie available and you are asked to tend the flagstick, make sure you are not standing on anyone's putting line in the process. The proper way to hold the flagstick is by holding it at arm's length around the flag itself. This keeps the flag from dancing around in the breeze. When you are holding it, loosen the bottom of the flagstick so that it doesn't stick to the cup when you try to remove it by pulling straight up right after your playing partner has putted his ball. After you remove the flagstick, lay it down off the green in order to prevent any damage to it. Usually the player closest to the flagstick gets the honor of tending to it. After everyone in your group has putted out, proceed to the next tee immediately. You can drink your beer and light your stogie on the way to the next hole.
